This workshop series is a unique, playful program, comprising of 4 stand-alone, but complementary sessions.
The program blends hands-on science & storytelling, whilst incorporating fun activities to help children understand & manage emotions in an engaging & interactive way!

Building Calm Around
School Worries & Transitions
Led by Clinical, Educational & Developmental Psychologist
Are school mornings, getting out the door, or drop-offs feeling tense, teary, or full of worry?
This one-hour workshop supports parents with practical, calming strategies to respond to school worries in ways that build safety and confidence (without accidentally feeding the worry). We’ll share simple tools you can use straight away, and include gentle group discussion and solution-focused brainstorming with other parents who get it.

Navigating the System:
Understanding Child Supports
Led by Educational & Developmental Psychologist and Occupational Therapist
Feeling lost in the maze of school referrals, waitlists, and funding systems like the NDIS? This info session helps parents and carers understand where to start, who to talk to, and how to confidently advocate for their child’s emotional, behavioural, or learning needs.

Aimed at parents of children under the age of 12, who become easily overwhelmed with big emotions, and often scream, shout, tantrum and lash-out verbally. Parents / carers will gain an understanding of the developing brain, so that we can best nurture and support our children's emotional wellbeing.
