Melanie Rowe
(currently on extended leave)
Mel is passionate about youth mental health and has extensive experience
working as in education assistant in both primary and secondary,
coeducational and single-sex schools. She has a good understanding of
the issues young people face and strategies to help them deal with
anxiety, emotional regulation and friendship concerns.
As a mother to three teenagers, she also has a good perspective on the
challenges of family life with teens.
She holds a Bachelor of Counselling, is a member of the Australian
Counselling Association (ACA) and is currently working towards a Master
of Social Work at UWA.
Mel tailors her sessions to the individual, acknowledging the uniqueness
of every person and adopts a strength-based whole child approach to
counselling.
